Syngenta Selects Emagia To Improve Cash Flow Management

Emagia Collaborative Finance Suite 3.2 Chosen To Optimize Cash Inflow and Improve Collections Efficiency

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb 25, 2003 - Emagia Corporation, the cash flow management software company, today announced that Syngenta (NYSE: SYT), a world-leading agribusiness, has selected Emagia Collaborative Finance Suite 3.2 to manage its accounts receivables and collections. A leader in crop protection and the high-value commercial seeds market, Syngenta aims to improve its cash flow processes with Emagia.

Emagia Collaborative Finance Suite will be deployed over Syngenta's SAP Financials and rolled out to the entire accounts receivables collections department. In-depth customer relationship mapping for portfolio management coupled with robust collections strategy management will help Syngenta increase collections efficiency. The suite also will connect Syngenta to its customers, distributors and agents to process customer portfolios and collect money more quickly via web-based collaboration technology.

Syngenta will use Emagia's out-of-the-box EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) kit for integration with its SAP system, keeping the implementation cycle short and allowing Syngenta's IT staff to focus on other initiatives.
