XML Web Services Support Simplifies Interoperability With Disparate Billing and Payment Systems

Web services strengthen electronic invoice presentment and payment (EIPP) functionality by simplifying the integration and interoperability with disparate enterprise systems used for billing and payments.

Web services, heralded as the next major agents of change in technology, are software components that provide a simple, flexible, standards-based approach for linking applications together over the Internet.
