Veena Gundavelli, Chairman and Founder, Emagia Corporation

Veena Gundavelli has extensive experience in the software industry and brings with her a strong business management background combined with a solid technical expertise. A visionary and seasoned entrepreneur, Veena founded Emagia in 1998. Under her leadership and vision, the company established itself as the leader in Enterprise Cash Flow Management area with leading edge products and a marquee Fortune 100 and Global 2000 customer base. Prior to founding Emagia, Veena was a cofounder and vice president of Solix Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise applications services. Prior to Solix Technologies, Veena held several management and development roles at Cisco Systems, Canon Information systems and other companies. Veena holds a MSCE from Santa Clara University and a BSEE from Osmania University.

Mark Pine, Managing Director, Sigma Partners

Mark Pine, Managing Director, joined Sigma in 2000. He has 24 years of experience in the high technology industry and brings to Sigma extensive management experience combined with a strong technical background. Prior to joining Sigma, Mark was CEO and co-founder of OnDisplay, a leading e-Business Application Platform Company. Under his guidance, OnDisplay grew extremely rapidly and was one of the top 10 best performing IPO's in 1999. In 2000, Vignette Corporation acquired OnDisplay for $1.8 billion. Previously, Mark was Senior Vice President of the Server and Connectivity division of Sybase, which was the company's largest division with revenues in excess of $450 million. Earlier, he served as an executive officer of several successful high technology companies. Mark has a B.A. degree in Applied Physics and Information Science from the University of California at San Diego. Mark has been responsible for Sigma's investments in Fogbreak Software, ListenPoint, Steelwedge, Sychron, Vormetric, and Zenasis Technologies.

Sumir Chadha, Senior Managing Director, WestBridge Capital Partners

Sumir Chadha is the founder of WestBridge Capital Partners, a leading US-India venture capital firm. Prior to founding WestBridge, he was a key member of the Principal Investment Area at Goldman, Sachs & Co, based in New York and Singapore, focused on venture investments in technology. He led an investment team for over 17 technology companies including high profile success stories such as Storage Networks, FreeMarkets, webMethods, Centra, Ventro/Chemdex and TechSpan. These investments totaled over $140 million of private equity capital. His career began as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. based in New York and New Delhi, where he specialized in the Internet and wireless industries. Sumir is the Chairman of the US-India Venture Capital Association and also a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)'s Silicon Valley chapter. Sumir received an MBA with distinction from Harvard University and a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University.

Shailesh Mehta, former Chairman and CEO, Providian Financial Corporation

Shailesh Mehta is the former Chairman and CEO of Providian Financial Corporation (NYSE: PVN), the fifth largest bankcard issuer in the US. Providian was recently named one of America's Most Admired Companies by a survey in Fortune magazine, and the nation's top financial institution by US Banker magazine. The Company has $27 billion in assets under management and 14 million customers. Prior to joining Providian in 1986, Mr. Mehta was Executive Vice President at the Ohio-based Ameritrust Corporation (now Key Corp), where he worked for twelve years. He became CEO of Providian in 1988. Mr. Mehta holds masters' and doctorate degrees in Operations Research and Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.

Margaret L. Taylor, President, PeopleSoft Investments

Margaret L Taylor is currently the President of PeopleSoft Investments, Inc. She is an advisor and investor to numerous start-ups and was honored by the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs with their FWE Entrepreneurial Achievement Award Winner in 1999.

Prior to managing investments and advising start-ups, Margaret served from 1989 to 1999 as a Senior Vice President and member of the Management Team at PeopleSoft, Inc. In this role, she has managed all corporate operations, including product development, customer services, professional services, and administration. She also managed the PeopleSoft Business Network, PeopleSoft's e-commerce products. Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Margaret was Vice President of Trust and Investment Management at the Hibernia Bank in San Francisco, CA. During her three-year tenure, assets increased from $300 to $500 million. Previously, Margaret worked at the Bank of California, in San Francisco, as Vice President and Director of Organization, Planning, and Development, where she was in charge of all personnel related operations.

Margaret is on the board of directors at several companies, including Fair Isaac (FIC). She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lone Mountain College in San Francisco with a B.A. in Communications and Psychology.
